Rick Caudill studied art in college and has a bachelors in Art History. Rick has sold several pieces to individual collectors and early in his career was a professional photographer. After several years of working odd jobs in support of his art, Rick took a much needed hiatus from producing any art.

Three years ago, Rick returned with a prolific production of many works, as he renewed his passions
in working with oil on canvas. Though realism is an optional style for Rick, he presently enjoys painting
works utilizing various color pallets, blending and bleeding, as he creates energy and movement within the art.
Rick's art takes people to many places, both literally and figuratively. When asked about how he views his art, Rick responded, "Actually, I like to see how the viewers respond. All of a sudden it's not just 'my art', it's a relationship. The viewer becomes as much a part of work as the oil or the canvas. Interpretation is the relationship and can be good, bad or indifferent. But the viewer has as much right to the work as the artist.
